How Do I Create a Custom Post Type in WordPress?
Creating a custom post type in WordPress is a great way to organize your blog content in a way that makes sense for your site. Once you create a custom post type, you can easily create custom taxonomies and Fields to match your content.
To create a custom post type in WordPress:
1. Go to the Posts section of your WordPress admin area.
2. Click on the Post Types tab at the top of the Posts section.
3. Click on the ADD NEW POST TYPE button.
4. Enter a name for your custom post type in the Name field.
5. In the Description field, provide a brief description of your custom post type.
6. In the Category field, specify the category(s) in which your custom post type should be placed.
7. In the Subcategory field, specify the subcategory(s) under which your custom post type should be placed.
8. Select the Enable Custom Fields check box.
9. Click on the Fields tab.
