How Do I Add a Domain to My WordPress Multisite?
Adding a domain to a WordPress multisite can be a bit challenging. There are a few different ways to do it, and it depends on how your WordPress multisite is set up.
If your multisite is installed as a subdomain of your main domain, you can add your domain using the WordPress Customizer. To do this, go to Settings > Site Actions > Add Domain.
Enter the full domain name into the Domain field, and the subdomain into the Subdomain field. Click the Save Changes button.
If your multisite is installed on its own domain, you’ll need to add a domain registrar account and set up a DNS record for your multisite. Once you have your domain registrar account set up, visit their domain registration page. In the Domain field, enter the multisite’s domain name. In the CNAME field, enter the domain name of your main site. (For example, mymultisite.com would be entered as mymultisite.com.cNAME.) Click the Add button. On the next page, enter the full domain name of your main site into the Domain field, and the subdomain into the Subdomain field.
