How Do I Add a Hook in WordPress?
Adding a hook in WordPress is a relatively easy process. To do so, open up your WordPress admin area, and then click on the ” plugins ” button located in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
From here, click on the ” add new ” button, and then choose the ” plugin ” category that you wish to add the hook to.
Once you’ve selected the category, you’ll need to search for the hook that you want to add. To do this, type in the hook’s name (i.e.
“post_type”) into the search bar located at the top of the plugin screen, and then press the enter key. Once you’ve found the hook, click on it, and then click on the ” install ” button located just beneath it.
Once the hook has been installed, you’ll need to go back to the ” plugin ” screen, and then click on the ” activate ” button located just below the ” settings ” button. This will enable the hook in WordPress, and it will be available to be used in your site’s content management system.
When you’re ready to use the hook, simply enter the hook’s code into the WordPress content editor, and then press the publish button. This will create a post with the appropriate hook attached, and it will be available for you to use in your site’s content.
