Can I Add Captions to a Slideshow on WordPress?
Adding captions to a slideshow on WordPress is a breeze. All you need is a text editor such as Notepad++, and a WordPress plugin called CaptionBuddy.
First, install CaptionBuddy. Then, open the plugin in your text editor. You will see a screen like this:
In the CaptionBuddy screen, you will see a text box named “Slideshow Settings.” In this text box, you will need to enter the following information:
Title: The title of the slideshow.
The title of the slideshow. Caption Content: The text of the captions.
The text of the captions. Caption Order: The order of the captions.
Next, you will need to add your captions. To do this, open a new file in your text editor and enter the following:

Finally, save your file and upload it to your WordPress site. In your WordPress site’s admin area, go to the “Slideshow” tab and select your slideshow.
Click on the “Caption Settings” button and enter your captions into the text box. Click on the “Update” button to save your changes.
Your slideshow will now have captions!.
