Can You Archive a Post on WordPress?
In general, it is possible to archive a post on WordPress. However, there are a few caveats that should be considered before doing so.
First and foremost, if the post is currently being used in any way (i.e.
being displayed on the front page or in a blog archive), then it is likely that the post will need to be deleted before it can be archived.
Secondly, if the post is associated with a blog or a website, then the archiving process may require the permission of the blog or website owner. In some cases, the owner may be willing to allow the archiving of their posts, while in other cases permission may not be granted.
Finally, it is important to note that archiving a post will not delete the post from the database. The post will still be available for viewing and editing by users.
