How Can I Tell if a Post Is on WordPress?
When you’re looking at a post on WordPress, the first thing you’ll want to do is determine whether or not it’s been published. To do this, you can head over to the Posts screen and use the date field to see when the post was last updated.
If it’s been updated within the last 24 hours, it’s likely published.
If you’re not sure whether or not the post is published, you can use the Publish Status field to determine whether or not it’s been published and saved to the site. If the Publish Status is set to “Publish,” then the post has been published and is available to be viewed by anyone.
If the Publish Status is set to “Draft,” then the post has not yet been published, but it is being prepared for publication. If the Publish Status is set to “Pending Publication,” then the post has not yet been published, but it is being prepared for publication.
If you want to be sure that you’re viewing the most recent post on the site, you can use the “Most Recent” link located at the bottom of the Posts screen.
