WordPress is a popular open source content management system (CMS) that enables you to create a website or blog from scratch, or to improve an existing website. To install WordPress on your laptop, follow these steps:
1. Download the WordPress installer from WordPress.
org.
2. Double-click the installer file to launch it.
3. On the welcome screen, click Next.
4. On the next screen, click Install WordPress.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
6. Once WordPress is installed, log in to your website using yourusername and password.
7. To configure WordPress, click the Admin link in the header of your website.
8. Click the Settings link to enter the WordPress Settings screen.
9. On the General Settings screen, click the Security tab.
10. In the Security Settings screen, click the Update Profile button.
11. In the Update Profile screen, enter your WordPress.
org username and password.
12. Click the Save Changes button.
13. Click the Activate Profile button.
14. Click the WordPress Settings link to return to the WordPress Settings screen.
