Can I Convert a Page to a Post in WordPress?

In WordPress, there are two ways to create a post: by clicking the WordPress “New Post” button on the main dashboard, or by using the “Post” button on a specific post or page. The difference between the two is that a new post is created in the WordPress main interface, while a post is created on a specific page or post.

When you create a post, WordPress creates a new page with the same name and content as the post. To convert a page to a post, you first need to switch to the “Posts” view on the main dashboard.

Then, click the “New Post” button in the upper right corner of the “Posts” view. WordPress will create a new post with the same name and content as the page you’re viewing.
