How Do I Add a Custom Menu Header in WordPress?
Adding a custom menu header in WordPress is a fairly simple process. To begin, open your WordPress admin area and click on the “Menus” link in the left-hand sidebar. This will open the Menus screen, which looks like the following image:
On the Menus screen, click on the “Add New Menu Item” button to open the Add New Menu Item screen. This screen looks like the following image:
Enter the following information into the “Item Name” field:
In the “Item Type” field, select “Menu Item.”
In the “Description” field, enter a brief description of the menu item.
In the “Enabled” field, check the box next to the menu item to make it visible on the website.
In the “Submenu” field, enter the name of the submenu into which the menu item should be placed.
Click on the “Add” button to create the menu item.
Now, you will need to create a custom menu header for the menu item you just created. To do this, click on the “Header” tab on the Menus screen and then click on the “Add New Header” button. This screen looks like the following image:
Enter the following information into the “Header Name” field:
