How Do I Add a Custom Navigation Menu in WordPress?

Adding a custom navigation menu in WordPress is easy. To begin, open your WordPress site in your browser.

Next, click on the “Appearance” tab in the WordPress admin area. Then, click on the “Menus” link in the left-hand column.

You will now see a list of existing menus. Click on the “Add New Menu” button. In the “Menu Name” field, enter a name for your new menu.

In the “Menu Position” field, choose where you want your new menu to appear. You can choose to have the menu appear at the top of the page, the bottom of the page, or anywhere in between.

In the “File Size” field, enter the size of the background image in pixels.

Click on the “Upload” button to upload the background image to your server. You can also specify a “Link Name” for the background image.

The link name will be displayed next to the menu item when it is displayed on the web site.

To add a custom border to your new menu item, click on the “Add Custom Border” button. In the “Border Width” field, enter the width of the border in pixels.

In the “Border Color” field, enter the color of the border.

Click on the “Upload” button to upload the border image to your server. You can also specify a “Link Name” for the border image.

When you are finished editing the menu, click on the “ Save Menu ” button.

Now, you can test your new menu by activating the “Default Menu Item” in the sub-menu. You can also preview your menu by clicking on the “ Preview Menu ” button.

When you are happy with the results, click on the “Publish Menu” button to publish your new menu.

Finally, to add a custom menu item to your existing menu, click on the “Replace Item” button. In the “Item Name” field, enter the name of the menu item that you want to replace.
