How Do I Add a Slug to My WordPress Blog?

If you want to add a slug to your WordPress blog, there are a few different ways to go about it. You can use the built-in slug generator or you can use a plugin like WPSSLUG.

To use the built-in slug generator, go to your blog’s Settings page and under the Blog Details section, click on the Slug tab. This will open the Slug Generator window.

Enter the name of your blog (for example, myblog), the name of your post type (for example, article), and the slug you want to create (for example, myblog-post-1). Click on the Generate button to generate the slug.

If you want to use a plugin like WPSSLUG, go to the Plugins page and search for WPSSLUG. Install the plugin and activate it. On the WPSSLUG Settings page, under the Blog Details section, click on the Slug tab.
