How Do I Add Product Attributes in WordPress?

Adding product attributes in WordPress is a fairly simple process. To get started, first you will need to create a new custom post type in WordPress. For this example, we will call our new post type “Product.” Once you have created the post type, you will need to go to the “Settings” menu item and select the “General” tab.

Here you will find the “Product Attributes” menu item. Click on this menu item to open it.

The “Product Attributes” menu item will display a list of all the post type’s attributes. To add a new attribute, you will need to click on the “Add” button and enter the attribute name in the “Attribute Name” field.

You will then need to enter the corresponding value in the “Value” field.

You can also add custom meta data to your products. For example, you can add a “Product Description” attribute that stores a brief description of the product.

You can also add “Product Tags” attributes that store the names of one or more product categories. You can also add “Product Images” attributes that store the URLs of one or more product images.

Finally, you will need to click on the “Save Changes” button to save your changes to the “Product Attributes” menu item.

Once you have added your product attributes, you will need to publish your post to the WordPress blog. You can do this by clicking on the “Publish” button on the “Publish” tab of the “Post” page.

Once your post has been published, you will be able to view your product attributes in the “Posts” menu item of the “Product” post type.
