How Do I Add WordPress to Cloudflare?
Adding WordPress to Cloudflare can be a daunting task, but not with the help of Cloudflare. The first step is to create an account on Cloudflare and sign in.
Once you’re logged in, navigate to the Security and Privacy page and click on the Add a Site button.
Next, you’ll need to provide Cloudflare with the details of your WordPress site. This information includes your domain name (or hostname if you’re using a hosted WordPress site), the server address, and the WordPress version number.
Once you’ve provided Cloudflare with this information, the next step is to activate Cloudflare’s caching and CDN features. To do this, click on the Settings tab, and then under the General heading, click on the Activate Cloudflare Caching and CDN button.
Now that Cloudflare has been activated, you’ll need to add the WordPress site to Cloudflare’s global CDN. To do this, click on the Cloudflare Settings tab, and then under the CDN heading, click on the Add a Cloudflare Cache Zone button.
Enter your domain name (or hostname) into the Cloudflare Cache Zone field, and then click on the Add button.
Now that the WordPress site has been added to Cloudflare, you’ll need to configure the site’s security settings. To do this, click on the Security tab, and then under the General heading, click on the Edit Site Security Settings button.
In the Security Settings page, you’ll need to provide Cloudflare with the details of your WordPress site’s security settings. This information includes the security certificate that you’ve uploaded to your site, the security settings for the WordPress site, and the security settings for the WordPress admin area.
Once you’ve provided Cloudflare with this information, the next step is to activate Cloudflare’s content delivery network (CDN) feature. To do this, click on the Settings tab, and then under the General heading, click on the Activate Cloudflare CDN button.
Now that Cloudflare’s CDN has been activated, you’ll need to add the WordPress site to Cloudflare’s global CDN.
Now that the WordPress site has been added to Cloudflare, you’re ready to start enjoying the benefits of the Cloudflare security and performance enhancement features. To do this, click on the Cloudflare Settings tab, and then under the General heading, click on the Activate Cloudflare Security and Performance button.
