How Do I Change a Post Page Template in WordPress?
When you first create a new post in WordPress, you’ll see a default template that looks something like this:
The default post page template includes a number of elements, such as the title, a header, and a main content area. To change the template, you first need to open the Settings screen in WordPress and click on the Posts tab.
On the Posts tab, you’ll see a list of all the post types that you currently have registered in WordPress. To change the post page template, you’ll need to click on the Post Page Template dropdown menu and select the template that you want to use.
Once you’ve selected the template, you’ll see a preview of the template on the right-hand side of the screen. To apply the template to a specific post, you’ll need to click on the Apply button.

Once you’ve finished customizing the template, you can click on the Save button to save the changes to the template.
If you want to keep the current template but change some of the elements, you can click on the Use Current Template button and then on the Edit button. In the Page Template editor, you’ll see a list of all the elements of the current template.
You can then change the elements that you want to change and click on the Save button to save the changes to the template.
If you want to use a custom template that you’ve created, you can click on the Use Custom Template button and then on the Open button. In the Open dialog box, you’ll see a list of all the files that are contained in the templates directory.
You can select the file that you want to use and then click on the Open button. In the Page Template editor, you’ll see a preview of the template on the right-hand side of the screen.
You can then change the elements of the template and click on the Save button to save the changes to the template.
When you’re finished customizing the template, you can click on the Publish button to publish the post.
