When you install WordPress, it creates a default directory structure and sets permissions on it so that only the user who installed WordPress can access the files and folders. You can change these permissions by following these steps:
1. Log in to your WordPress site as the user who installed WordPress.
2. Go to the site’s administration area.
3. Click on the Files and folders link.
4. On the Files and folders page, click on the uploads folder.
5. In the permissions column, click on the checkbox next to the permissions you want to change.
6. Click on the Update permissions button.
