How Do I Change My WordPress Login?
Changing your WordPress login is a relatively easy process. To do so, open your WordPress admin area (click on the admin bar at the top of the screen), and then click on the “Settings” menu item.
From here, click on the “Login” sub-menu item.
You will now be presented with a list of options. The first option is to change your password.
If you have not already done so, please enter a new password below. You will also need to confirm your new password by clicking on the “Re-type password” button.
If you have already changed your password, then you will need to enter your current password below. Once you have verified that your password is correct, click on the “Login” button to continue.
The next step is to select a new user name. This user name will be the name that appears on the user profile page when someone logs in to your WordPress site.
If you do not want anyone other than you to have access to your WordPress site, you should choose a user name that is not already in use on your server.
Once you have chosen a user name, enter it below. You will also need to verify the user name by clicking on the “Verify” button.
If you want to change the user name that appears on the user profile page, you can do so by clicking on the “Profile” button. From here, you can select a new user name and then click on the “Save” button.
Finally, you will need to select a new password for your new user name. Again, if you have not already done so, please enter a new password below.
You will also need to confirm your new password by clicking on the “Re-type password” button.
Once you have verified that your new password is correct, click on the “Login” button to continue.
Congratulations! You have now changed your WordPress login.
