How Do I Change Shipping Options in WordPress?
So you’ve decided to switch to using WordPress as your content management system (CMS). But you’re a little intimidated by the idea of configuring shipping options on your own.
Fear not! In this article, we’ll show you how to change shipping options in WordPress using a few simple steps.
First, open your WordPress admin area and go to the “Settings” menu. Select “Shipping” from the list.
In the shipping settings screen, you’ll see four tabs: “Shipping Address,” “Shipping Method,” “Shipping Zone,” and “Customs Class.”
1. Shipping Address
The first tab, “Shipping Address,” lets you specify the shipping address for your products. By default, WordPress will use the shipping address entered in the “Contact Information” section of your WordPress admin area.
If you’d like to use a different shipping address, you can enter it in the “Shipping Address” field. You can also specify a shipping method, such as “Standard Shipping.”
2. Shipping Method
The second tab, “Shipping Method,” lets you choose the shipping method you’d like to use. WordPress offers three shipping methods: “Standard Shipping,” “Premium Shipping,” and “Express Shipping.”
3. Shipping Zone
The third tab, “Shipping Zone,” lets you specify the shipping zone for your products. By default, WordPress will use the shipping zone entered in the “Location” section of your WordPress admin area.
You can also specify a custom shipping zone by entering the zone’s name in the field.
4. Customs Class
The fourth tab, “Customs Class,” lets you specify the customs class for your products. By default, WordPress will use the “Standard” customs class.
You can also specify a custom customs class by entering the customs class’s name in the field.
Once you’ve entered all the necessary information, click the “Save Changes” button to save your changes.
Now that you’ve changed your shipping options in WordPress, it’s time to configure your shipping plugin. To do this, go to your WordPress admin area and click the “Plugins” menu item.
Select “Activate” from the list of plugins, and then enter the plugin’s name in the “Searchplugins” field.
Once the plugin is found, click the “Install” button to install it.
Once the plugin is installed, you’ll see a new “Shipping” tab in the “Settings” menu. Click the “Shipping” tab to configure your shipping settings.
