How Do I Change the Default Post Type in WordPress?

Changing the default post type in WordPress is a fairly simple process. To do so, open the WordPress admin area and locate the “Posts” screen.

In the left-hand column, you’ll see a list of post types. To change the default post type, click on the “Post Type” link in the right-hand column.

On the “Post Type” screen, you’ll see a list of available post types. The default post type is “Posts,” but you can select another post type if you wish.

To change the default post type, simply select the “Posts” post type from the list and click “Save Changes.”.

If you want to revert to the default post type, simply select “Posts” from the list and click “Restore Default.”.
