Creating a multilingual website in WordPress is relatively easy. In fact, there are a number of plug-ins and themes that make the process painless.
First, you will need to decide which languages you want your website to support. WordPress comes with a number of built-in language packs, but you can also add additional packs from the WordPress plugin repository.
Once you have chosen your languages, you will need to install the appropriate language pack. To do this, open the WordPress admin area and click on the “Plugins” menu item.
From here, click on the “Add New” button and search for the language pack you want to install.
Once you have installed the language pack, you will need to activate it. To do this, open the WordPress admin area and click on the “WordPress” menu item.
From here, click on the “Settings” button and select the “General” tab. Under the “Language” heading, click on the “Activate” button and enter the activation code that was provided with the language pack.
Now that you have installed and activated the language pack, you will need to configure your website to support it. To do this, open the WordPress admin area and click on the “Appearance” menu item.
From here, click on the “Editor” button and select the “Theme” panel. In the “Theme Options” panel, you will need to enter the language settings for your website.
To get started, you will need to specify the language for the header and footer of your website. To do this, open the WordPress admin area and click on the “Pages” menu item.
From here, click on the “Add New” button and enter the page title in the “Title” field. Next, enter the language name in the “Language” field and click on the “Save” button.
