How Do I Create Layers in WordPress?

Creating layers in WordPress is a bit more complicated than it may seem. It can be useful to think of a layer as a sort of “window” into your site.

You can use different layers to show different parts of your site, or to organize your content into different categories. .

To create a new layer in WordPress, first go to the Layers menu in the WordPress dashboard. You’ll see a list of all the layers currently active on your site.

To create a new layer, click the plus (+) button next to the Layers list.

You’ll see the New Layer dialog box. The first thing you’ll need to do is give your new layer a name. (You can later change this name if you want.

) In the Title field, type a title for your layer. In the Description field, type a brief description of your layer.

Next, you’ll need to decide what content your new layer will contain. You can add any content you want to your layer, including posts, pages, media, and custom fields.

(You can’t, however, add custom posts or custom pages to a layer.) .

To add content to your layer, click the Add Content button. You’ll see the Add Content dialog box.

To add a media file to your layer, click the Add Media button.

When you’re finished adding content to your layer, click the Save Changes button. (You can also click the Publish button to publish your layer.)

Now, when you visit your site, you’ll see the new layer listed in the Layers menu. You can switch between the different layers on your site by clicking the layer’s name in the Layers menu.
