How Do I Edit Pages in WordPress?
Editing pages in WordPress is a simple process. You can edit any page by clicking on it in the WordPress admin area and then clicking on the “Edit” button.
WordPress will open the page in the default editor, which is a simple text editor. You can also use the WordPress “Edit Page” button to open the page in a different editor, such as a code editor.
Once you have opened the page in the editor, you will see the usual WP toolbar at the top of the page. The toolbar includes buttons for things like adding new content, editing existing content, and deleting content.
Below the toolbar is the main area of the editor, which is divided into two sections. The left section is where you will find the text you are editing and the right section is where you will find the WP toolbar, sidebar, and other editing tools.
To add new content to your page, click on the “Text” tab at the top of the editor and start typing. WordPress will automatically add a heading and a paragraph of text to your page.
You can add as much or as little content as you want. Once you have finished editing the content, click on the “Publish” button at the top of the editor to save the changes and publish the page.
To delete content from your page, click on the “Text” tab at the top of the editor and start typing. WordPress will automatically highlight all of the content on the page that is relevant to your search.
You can then click on the “Delete” button to delete the highlighted content.
If you want to change the editor that WordPress is using to edit the page, you can click on the “Editor” button at the top of the toolbar and select the editor that you want to use. WordPress will then open the page in the chosen editor.
To finish editing the page, click on the “Publish” button at the top of the editor. WordPress will save the changes and publish the page.
