How Do I Edit Text in WordPress Editor?
If you want to make changes to text within a WordPress post or page, you’ll need to use the WordPress editor. The WordPress editor is a basic text editor that you can find within the WordPress dashboard.
To open the WordPress editor, click the “Editor” link on the main WordPress screen. The WordPress editor is divided into two main sections: the content area, where you’ll write your posts and pages, and the sidebar, where you’ll find tools and options related to editing text.
To start editing text, you’ll first need to select the text you want to change. To do this, click the “Select All” button located in the content area.
Once the text is selected, you can make your changes.
To add a new line of text, click the “Insert New Line” button located in the content area. To add a new paragraph, click the “Enter New Paragraph” button.
To add a new sentence, click the “Enter New Sentence” button.
To delete a line of text, click the “Delete” button located in the content area. To delete a paragraph, click the “Delete All” button.
To delete a sentence, click the “Delete” button and then select the sentence you want to delete.
To change the font size of text, click the “Font Size” button located in the content area. To change the font type of text, click the “Font Type” button.
To change the font color of text, click the “Font Color” button.
To bold text, click the “Bold” button located in the content area. To italicize text, click the “Italic” button.
To underline text, click the “Underline” button.
To add a hyperlink to a location in your post or page, click the “Link” button located in the content area. To add a table to your post or page, click the “Table” button.
To add a image to your post or page, click the “Image” button.
To format text as a Quote, Emphasize, or Indent, click the appropriate button located in the content area. To add a link to a location within your post or page, click the “Link” button and then type the URL of the location you want to link to.
To insert a table of contents for your post or page, click the “TOC” button located in the content area. To insert a list of source links for your post or page, click the “List Source” button.
To insert a figure or image into your post or page, click the “Insert Media” button located in the content area. To insert a table of data for your post or page, click the “Table” button and then type the table’s data in the text field located below the table.
