How Do I Install an Existing WordPress Database?

WordPress databases come in two flavors: built-in and external. Built-in databases are installed when you install WordPress, and external databases can be installed either through the WordPress plugin repository or by downloading a plugin and installing that.

To install an existing WordPress database:

1. Log into your WordPress site.

2. Go to the Settings menu and click on the database option.

3. Click on the Add New Database button.

4. In the Database Name field, type the name of the database you want to install.

5. In the Database URL field, type the URL of the database.

6. Click on the Save Changes button.

7. Click on the Activate button to activate the new database.

8. Click on the WP Admin link in the top left corner of the WordPress screen and then on the WordPress admin menu.

9. Click on the Database link in the left sidebar and then on the Tables link.

10. Click on the Add Table button.

11. In the Table Name field, type the name of the table you want to create.
