How Do I Install SSL on Managed WordPress GoDaddy?
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a security protocol that encrypts information transmitted over the internet. It’s most commonly used to protect the privacy of online users, but it can also be used to protect the security of a site.
To install SSL on your Managed WordPress GoDaddy account, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
2. Click the “Website” tab in the top menu bar.
3. Under the “Website Properties” heading, click the “SSL” link.
4. On the “SSL” page, under the “Configuration” heading, click the “Install SSL” button.
5. On the “Install SSL” page, enter the information required to configure SSL on your site.
6. Click the “Install SSL” button.
7. Click the “Close” button.
8. Click the “OK” button.
9. Click the “Back to Website” button.
10.Your site is now configured to use SSL.
To test whether your site is using SSL, click the “SSL” link in the top menu bar and click the “Test SSL” button.
If your site is using SSL, you’ll see a message that says “Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is enabled.”.
