How Do I Link a Menu Item to a WordPress Page?

When you create a menu item in WordPress, you are assigned a unique ID. To link a menu item to a WordPress page, you use this ID.

To link a menu item to a post, use the post’s ID.

To link a menu item to a page, use the menu item’s ID. To link a menu item to a post, use the post’s ID.

To get the menu item’s ID, go to the Posts screen in WordPress, and click on the post that you want to link the menu item to. Then, on the Edit Post screen, beneath the Published date, click on the Menu Icon next to the Title.

The menu item’s ID will be displayed in the text box that appears.
