Custom fields are a powerful way to add extra information to your posts and pages, and they’re easy to set up in WordPress. To add a custom field to a post or page, follow these steps:

1. Click the Posts navigation menu item at the top of your WordPress site, and then click Add New Post.

2. In the Add New Post window, on the left side under the Structure section, click the Fields tab.

3. In the Fields section, under the Post Type drop-down menu, select Page.

4. Under the Page Fields section, click the Add New Field button.

5. On the Add Custom Field window, enter a name for your field, and then click the Add Field button.

6. In the Custom Field Settings section, you can set up your field’s name, description, and required fields.

You can also choose whether to make your field private or public, and whether to display it on the post or page.
