How Do I Publish a WordPress Page?
Whether you’re a seasoned WordPress user or just getting started, you likely know that publishing a new page is as easy as clicking a button. But what about all those other pages that your website contains—the ones that are technically official but haven’t been updated in years?
Fortunately, WordPress makes it easy to publish old pages as well, by allowing you to automatically generate a new page template for them. Just follow these steps:
1. Log in to your WordPress site.
2. Click the “Pages” menu item on the left-hand side of the screen.
3. Click the “Create a new page” button.
4. Enter a page title in the “Title” field, and specify the URL of the page in the “URL” field.
5. Click the “Create” button.
6. On the newly created page, click the “Edit” button.
7. In the “Page content” field, enter the text you want to appear on the page.
8. To add a photo or other media, click the “Upload” button and browse to the file you want to upload.
9. Click the “Save” button.
10. Click the “Publish” button to publish the page.
That’s all there is to it! WordPress will automatically generate a new page template for the page you just created, and it will be live on your website immediately.
As you can see, publishing a page is a relatively simple process, and it doesn’t require any coding skills. If you need help creating or publishing a page, don’t hesitate to reach out to WordPress support.
