How Do You Add Add Expires Headers in WordPress?

In order to add the “Expires” header to your WordPress blog posts and pages, you will first need to create a new custom header field in your WordPress blog’s “Settings” panel. To do this, open the “Settings” panel by clicking on the “Settings” button on the WordPress toolbar, and then clicking on the “CustomHeaderFields” tab.

Once you’re in the “CustomHeaderFields” tab, click on the “Add New” button, and then enter the following information into the “Name” field:

“Expires”

Once you’ve entered this information, click on the “Save” button, and then click on the “Close” button to return to the “CustomHeaderFields” tab.

Now that you’ve created the “Expires” custom header field, you will need to add the “Expires” header to your blog posts and pages. To do this, first click on the “Post/Page” button located at the top of your WordPress blog’s main screen, and then click on the “Header” tab.

Next, click on the “Add New” button located at the top of the “Header” tab, and then enter the following information into the “Name” field:

After you’ve entered this information, click on the “Save” button, and then click on the “Close” button to return to the “Post/Page” tab.

Finally, you will need to add the “Expires” header to your blog’s static files. To do this, first click on the “Files” button located at the top of your WordPress blog’s main screen, and then click on the “Uploads” tab.

Next, click on the “Add New” button located at the top of the “Uploads” tab, and then enter the following information into the “Name” field:

After you’ve entered this information, click on the “Upload” button, and then click on the “Close” button to return to the “Files” tab.

Now that you’ve added the “Expires” header to your blog posts and pages, the “Expires” header will be automatically added to all of your blog’s static files.
