What Is Author Page in WordPress?

When creating a post or page on WordPress, you can include an author’s name and bio. This information is displayed at the top of the post or page, just below the post title.

The author’s name is automatically generated based on the author’s name and email address you provide. If you don’t provide an author’s name, WordPress uses the name of the post’s author, which is also the name used in the WordPress Codex.

The bio is a short description of the author. You can either enter a custom text or use one of WordPress’s built-in biographies.

If you want to remove the author’s name and bio from a post or page, you can do so by editing the post’s or page’s header.
