Where Is the HTML Page in WordPress?
An HTML page is the document that contains your website’s content. It’s usually found in the wp-content folder, but can also be found in the root of your website.
When you create a new WordPress website, the default page template is created in the wp-content folder. This template includes an HTML page that contains the basic structure and layout of your website.
To edit this page, open the wp-content folder in your website’s root directory, and then open the page file called index.html.
This file contains the default HTML page that WordPress creates when you create a new website.
To add or change any of the content on this page, you’ll need to use the WordPress editing interface. To do this, open the WordPress dashboard, click on the Posts tab, and then click on the Edit link for the post you want to edit.
Once you’ve opened the post’s editing interface, you’ll see the main content area on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen, you’ll see the HTML page that WordPress has created for you.

You can also use the Files tab in the WordPress admin area to view and edit the HTML page that WordPress has created for you. This page contains all of the information that WordPress needs to display your website on the web.
To view the page’s source code, click on the disclosure triangle next to the editor’s location on the right side of the screen. This will open the editor’s source code in a new tab, and you’ll be able to view and edit the HTML code that WordPress has used to create the page.
